I am a Deviant Art addict, I browse it looking for new stuff a couple of times every week and I check my Deviant Watch almost every day. But this weekend I was away for a wedding (a beautiful wedding by the way) so you can imagine the chock I got when I logged on to dA and look at my messages and see that not only can I get rid of “20 years of wrinkles - as seen on CNN”, I have 3,035 messages. Last time I checked, that was more than my pageviews...

My reaction to this was something like WFT?OMFG!whatisgoingon??? I had been gone for four days, what had happened? Had I over the weekend been added to so many collections that the numbers, somehow, had added up? Or maybe pigs had started flying and ragnarok was upon us?

It didn’t take very long to discover that I had been a Daily Deviation feature, I still can’t really believe it though. I mean, that happens to other people. I never even considered that it might happen to me, not yet anyway.

I am so happy though. And confused, and more happy, and amazed and grateful. Thank you so much to =Villesgodgirl who suggested me, and to ^Ikue who featured me.

I will try to not let it get to my head... But so many comments telling you that you are amazing can do terrible stuff to your ego.
